#whirlpoolsalescrap

Last year when we remodeled our kitchen we bought a microwave oven (over the range), dish washer and a regular oven (free standing gas range) manufactured by whirlpool. Within first week the handle of the microwave was deformed by heat. It had warranty for a year, so I decided to call whirlpool later to fix it. I called in September of last year and they sent technicians to take a look at it. They came and said since it was still functional and the handle was cosmetic whirlpool might not pay to fix it. I decided not to bother with it anymore.

Then again in January the door cracked. After calling again whirlpool sent technicians from the same company. This time they were giving us little hope that the company should replace the door. At the same time they were skeptical that whirlpool might refuse it since they consider this crack cosmetic. Today, I called and they refused to fix it because it is cosmetic.

If I try to fix it I have to buy a new door and pay technicians to replace the broken one which would cost me the same amount or more than what I paid to buy the microwave.  They sold me a crappy product which cracked within a year and now they refused to fix it; I will never buy anything with whirlpool logo on it. People learn from my experience and avoid buying whirlpool products…
