Graduation Party

by | 17 Jul 2022

On Saturday 02 July 2022, we celebrated important milestones of our children. We had four graduates this year in our family – one graduated from kindergarten, two from elementary schools, and the oldest one among them from middle school. Kids were free to spend as much time as they wished in the water (plenty of water guns and swimming pools were available for them). Later they had cake, barbequed chicken, hot dogs, and burgers. Overall it was a fun-filled day for the children and for the guys too. I hope the celebration of their achievements encouraged the little graduates to do well in school.

I was shocked to hear that our neighbor, Michael Brown, passed away on May 2, 2024, and even more so to find out only after thirty days had passed. I had gone to see him because I noticed his house was up for sale. I assumed he was moving to Florida or somewhere else...

Kurbani

This was the first year when I went to butcher shops for Kurbani of Eid-ul-Azha (Annual religious sacrifice). We deposited $500 to a butcher shop in Pipersville, PA to get a bull of around 1800lbs. That was a Thursday and he told our organizer that he only had big...
