Obnoxious Driver

by | 19 Jul 2019

Around noon on Saturday 13 July 2019 I was driving towards Queens, NYC on Brooklyn Queens Expressway (BQE) and little before exit 23 (still in Brooklyn) I was trying to go to the right lane but a car came too fast and too close to mine in the right lane, so I went back to my lane. Within seconds that car crossed into my lane and completely stopped in front of my car. I was stunned and was barely able to stop my car right behind it. Also, I was worried that the car behind me would hit mine because it was in the middle of the expressway and cars were running fast. Then again, I thought that the driver was a police officer in civilian clothes and I was going to get a ticket for who knows what reason, so I was upset too.  Instead, the driver came out and shouted something (my windows were closed so didn’t hear it but most likely cursed me) and went back to his car and zigzagged away fast. I was too shocked to take any pictures of the car or the driver. I never thought anyone could halt the traffic in BQE just to scream at me. The whole incident lasted less than two minutes without any physical damage. However, It was scary when it happened. Believe it or not, I was talking to my wife ( she was with me in the car) and casually mentioned that the common stereotype of NYC drivers is that they are rude and unruly. Well, within 30 minutes of my statement someone just proved it.

It was about 9:30pm on Saturday 17 December 2022, someone knocked our door hard – first I thought it was an Amazon delivery guy but didn’t see anyone or nothing was left on our doorstep. We checked the footage from our security camera and saw someone was running away...

Just changed my web hosting company. It was a time consuming task. Export from old hosting company and import to the new one using Word Press menu doesn’t really export/import everything. I had to add some widgets and change the default Settings of Permalinks. Also,...
